This is our house in Galicia it is in Rabade Lugo. It isn’t exactly typical of a property in rural Spain. When we bought it three years ago it was a ruin as you can see. But many properties in rural Galicia are in a similar state.

It took twenty months but we did all the work on the house ourselves, so we know exactly how much work goes into a restoration, how much it costs, how long it takes and how to do it.
