This house is located in the municipality of Castro de Carballedo, in the Ribeira Sacra. The house has three bedrooms, all with window, kitchen, living room and bathroom. A single plant, with the advantages of heating and comfort that this entails. The house is perfectly isolated, externally a material has been applied that does not allow the passage of moisture. It is ready to move into, except for small, basically aesthetic arrangements that are optional.
The property includes a garage, a granary (horreo) and a land plot of 600 m2 for all types of crops: grapes for wine, cherries, walnuts, chestnuts, lemons, apples, etc. These are the typical productions of the Castro de Carballedo area.
It was here in these lands, in either bucolic or rugged sites, that monks and hermits came to lead an ascetic life at the beginning of the Christian era. These settlements, with the passing of time, became flourishing monasteries from where art, culture and material progress spread out to all of Galicia. Hence the name of Ribeira Sacra (Sacred Riverbank), from which there is written evidence since the 12th century. (turismo.gal)
