O Penso is a beautiful abandoned village near Ortigueira, A Coruña. O Penso is a “lugar” that at the time made up a farmhouse of ranchers and farmers who, gradually, left to go to the city or emigrated to another country. The Ortigueira area, on the Atlantic coast, is approximately 6 km away. Its beaches are among those that have made Galicia a preferred surfing destination in southern Europe.
