Baralla, situated in the area belonging to Lugo of the Los Ancares Biosphere Reserve, is a fantastic enclave. There you can find this huge mansion known as A Casa da Torre (The house of the tower) which, even if it has to be completely restored, offers countless possibilities. The Celts who founded the village of Baralla chose the place carefully. Overlooking the valley of the River Neira, one of the most trout-fishing areas in Galicia, and with the Ranadoiro mountain range behind it, the area of Baralla offers beautiful views of Galician nature in all its splendor.
This mansion, which is over 200 years old, is built of granite and proudly displays its coat of arms on the façade. Its more than 800 m2 built and distributed on three floors house a multitude of rooms. As it has to be completely renovated, the distribution of this great house in Baralla can be adapted to whatever you wish. We will not go into detail about the rooms. But it is worth mentioning, as an example, that it has a wonderful typical Galician gallery which, together with the balcony, offers magnificent views of the pastures and the woods.
Also worth mentioning is the large stone fireplace in the main room of the house. And the wide spaces of the ground floor, now warehouses, stables and henhouses, which could be transformed into whatever you want.
The land next to this house is 6.759 m2 of meadow partially closed by tall native trees. Inside the property and next to the house there is a large 84 m2 barn.
