Carmoega belongs to the municipality of A Golada, Pontevedra. In the valley of the Arnego River, this treasure is hidden. It is a beautiful registered manor house in the book “PAZOS Y CASAS SEÑORIALES DE GALICIA” and other publications, A Casa da pena (The house of the rock) dates from the fifteenth century at least, although it could be earlier. The natural ight and color of this beautiful valley, color it.
Carmoega’s Manor House
The property consists of three houses joined and closed with a large haystack and a wall that connects with the manor house, thus making a closed patio. In two of the houses, the landlords lived to take care of the vineyards and farmland.
The other manor house has two coats of arms. A stone staircase leads us to the balcony that surrounds the pazo. From it you can see the patio itself and beautiful views of the valley and the town of Carmoega. Everything is to be rehabilitated, although the structures are in quite good condition.

The property has more than 60,000 m2 of land around the house. And also, on the other side of the road, it has a 4,000 m2 land plot with centenary oaks and chestnuts. Perhaps because it is watered by the Arnego River, the area has a microclimate that allowed to grow olive trees and vineyards. Although today everything is found in meadows and trees.
This Carmoega property has all the necessary services. As is the general public sewage system But it even has a water supply that belongs completely and privately to the house.
The water is channeled, in large part, from the spring located at an altitude of 1,000 m, to the mill located within the estate of this property. Apart from this mill, there is a winery inside the property, where you can see the ancient wooden press.
One property, three projects
The dimensions and characteristics of this property allow a very interesting alternative use. We have raised it in three different projects or options.
First. Rural tourism house with a land area of 7 ha, where you can make gardens, places for reading, horseback riding, hiking trails, etc.
Second. Five dwellings, with 1 ha of land each and 5,000 m2 of common land for gardens. Ideal for groups of friends. For couples, up to six homes with an area of land of 6.5 ha can be obtained.
Third. It has also been thought of a cohousing project, with the conditioning for four families forming their own village. Each with its own land and home, living in a self-sufficient way.
