The French Route passes very close to the campsite’s door.
This campsite was built on 15000m2 of land of 46.535m2 in the region of El Bierzo. It is in the town of Vilela.
It has been integrated to the maximum within the abundant nature of the area.
The campsite is classified as a TOURIST CAMP.
It has an area dedicated to tents, caravans etc. with 96 places.
At the same time it has everything one could ask for with; water, sewage, electricity and lighting, (all services) perimeter closure of the entire reception area, bar, shop, toilets, store, laundry and also a large restaurant fully glazed with clay oven and barbecue, and a relaxation area with French fireplace.
The property has green areas equipped with litter bins, benches, waste bins, fire extinguishers and a trout fishing lake for the enjoyment of young and old alike.
The aim in the area has been to develop natural landscape tourism which fits within the regional tourism plan and fits with the Bierzo Ancares and Medulas circuits in this plan.
In the area for fishing enthusiasts there are the following fishing preserves: Vilafranca del Bierzo on the river Burbia (special preserve), Pereje on the river Valcarcel and Parada Seca on the river Burbia.
For the mountain bike lovers, there are impressive routes, the area of Corullón, (Convento de cabeza de Alba, the route of the wolfram of the Peña del Seo, the waterfall of Pelgo), for the hikers the route of the cherry trees of Corullon, the so-called valley of Jerte berciano, etc.
The area is special with its chestnut groves, old castles, etc. Vilafranca is a monumental town that surprises the visitor continuously.
