The house was built in 1934. The original building has undergone renovations to the floors, windows, electrical installation, plumbing, heating, roof and windows. It has an almost square floor plan (14 x 16 m) and has two floors.

The walls are made of reinforced concrete and the entire floor of the first floor, beams and structures are made of chestnut wood.

Since its construction, the house has been used as a rural tavern, restaurant and hostelry, with a long-standing reputation in the area as “Taberna da Costa”. It was used as such until 2000 and was inhabited until 2010.

The distribution of the spaces on the ground floor is: kitchen, dining room, boiler room (gasoil) and space for catering. The upper floor has six bedrooms, a bathroom and a large central living room. Outside, a toilet and a drying room have been built.

The other buildings: stables, a large garage, a bread oven, a barn and a hen coup.
