Lanzós is next to Villalba, Lugo. A short distance, 5.6 km, is the river beach of the Madalena River. The Camino de Santiago del Norte runs very close. It is located 45 minutes from the coast of Lugo, in the region of A Terra Chá (The flat land). Very close to the house, there are many amazing walks surrounded by spectacular trees. And Lugo capital is 25 minutes away.
It was called Casa de Cuela. The main house is made of stone with wooden windows and is in very good condition. It has two floors and a basement where there are a cellar and an oven. Its surface is 304 m2. It was a typical Galician farmhouse, but it really has a chalet style, because of its space and luminosity. It was renovated to its current state about thirty years ago. The slate of the decks is in good condition. The house is very spacious and bright. Most rooms have a rectangular floor plan and almost all have good views. Absolutely nothing is heard, everything is nature. You could have horses or other animals.
Accessing the ground floor, we find an impressive staircase to the left. To the left of this staircase is the living room, with beautiful views of the mountain and part of the estate. To the right of the hall is the large kitchen, with lareira and wood cooker. Continuing straight from the hall, if we go down a couple of steps, we access several rooms. A toilet on the left, a mini cellar-warehouse also on the left and a small room with an oven on the right. At the bottom of the hall, facing the access door, there is another door, which opens to the other entrance of the house.
Going up the stairs, it flows into the second floor with a very bright hall. From this, on the left, there is a hallway that leads to two bedrooms. On the left, there is also another bedroom. In front there is a bathroom. On the right another bedroom.
From the aforementioned hall you can access another staircase, with only four steps, which gives access to a small space through which we enter a large balcony with views of part of the estate. Through it you access the granary (hórreo). We also have another bedroom with a large bathroom there.
There are fitted wardrobes, solid chestnut wood floors and tile throughout the house. This Lanzós house was renovated with good materials, both in wood, stairs and tiles.
Almost 15,000 m2 of land in total, distributed on two plots. The largest, approximately 13,000 m2, around the buildings. It is fairly flat land with parts in a slight slope. This estate is an open space, with trees but distant, which allows the house to have spectacular views. It seems that you are alone in the middle of nature. A really quiet environment. The farm, like the house, can be accessed by two entrances. Everything that surrounds this property is its own estate, all nature. As for the trees, there are chestnuts, quinces, apple trees, kiwis, camellia, laurels, European maple, a mimosa …
There are also several buildings that are used for storage, but they need rehabilitation. Together, these annexed buildings add an area of 370 m2. One of them has a place to make fire. Another was used more as stables. The latter has an original part in stone and, subsequently, a part in cement and brick block was added. There is also a shed, the granary and two wells. These wells need to be controlled to check the pumps.
Apart from the mentioned wells, there is water, electricity, sanitation and heating.
