Description
Nice small village near the sea in Valle de Ouro;
The village is within the same estate with three possible entrances to it. One by asphalt and the other two by track. It is made up of four houses next to each other and a fifth one in front.
Village with 5 small houses, now all together, but independent. It has a large palleira that gives for a beautiful house. The owner is selling it because she already has a big house, a flat, and prefers to sell it. The surrounding area is about 38-40 ferrados (about 2 ha).
Up to 5 families used to live in Modia. At the end of the farm there is a water stream, with a lot of weeds and his aunt used to wash on a stone there. The cows there belong to a neighbour who, in exchange for looking after them, lets them graze.
The water comes from a spring on the other side of the road, on someone else’s farm. It supplied the 5 houses.
The 5 houses were bought by his uncle and aunt. When the uncle died her aunt went to Josefa’s house. When her parents died they gave the whole property to Josefa. It is divided into 2 different plots.
The school was 2-4 km away, in Vilacampa. There is a doctor in Ferreira (5km away, 5 minutes). The hospital is in Burela, 20 minutes away.
